To help you along your way, our good friends at PGH Bricks have developed a ‘Which Style Are You?’ quiz, which goes beyond bricks and helps you understand your own personal style to create a home that is truly yours.
Once you have taken the quiz, you can then delve deeper into reading about your style, plus discover all their dreamy mood boards!

Home owners often have to make fast decisions at the selection stage of the process and it is not uncommon for husband and wife teams to discover at the last minute that their tastes differ” says Amy Mancell, Marketing Manager for PGH Bricks & Paver at CSR Limited.
Choosing your external colours and materials early in your build journey is important. This allows Coral Homes to apply for you building approval early on to minimise any delays later in the journey (some councils can take up to 6-8 weeks to respond to building applications). This information will also be needed for covenant approval if you are building in an estate.
The key areas you will need to decide on early on are:
- Roof (type and colour)
- Fascia (colour)
- Gutter (colour)
- Downpipes (colour and style)
- Driveway (colour and finish)
- Garage (colour and style/profile)
- Windows (frame colour and finish)
- Front door (colour and type)
- Brickwork and mortar (colour, brick bond and mortar joint finish)
- Paint colour of renders/cladding etc. that make up the rest of your facade
